These terms govern your use of nihasilks.com and every purchase you make from us. By browsing the site or placing an order, you agree to them. We’ve kept them as clear and fair as we can — if anything is unclear, message us on WhatsApp and a real person will explain.

Who we are

Niha Silks is a curated house of authentic Kanjeevaram silk sarees from the House of Seematti, serving customers since 1983. The website is operated by SEEMATTI SAREES (GSTIN: 33AABFS8495E1Z1), with its registered office at No.10 Gandhiji Road, Mayiladuthurai, Tamil Nadu, India. All products sold on this website are of Indian origin.

Consumer grievances

In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, our Grievance Officer is Fuzail Mohammed, reachable at support@nihasilks.com. Complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within one month of receipt.

Products & pricing

• ✦Every saree is described and photographed as faithfully as possible. Pure silk is handwoven — small variations in weave, motif placement, and colour are the nature of the craft, not defects.
• ✦Colours may render slightly differently across screens. We’re happy to share additional photographs or a video of any saree on WhatsApp before you order.
• ✦All prices are quoted and charged in Indian Rupees (INR), inclusive of applicable taxes. Prices shown in other currencies are approximate conversions for your convenience only.
• ✦We may correct pricing or listing errors at any time. If an error affects an order you’ve placed, we will contact you before proceeding, and you may cancel for a full refund.

Orders & acceptance

• ✦Placing an order is an offer to purchase. Your order is accepted when we confirm it — by email, WhatsApp, or dispatch of your saree, whichever comes first.
• ✦We may decline or cancel an order where a listing or pricing error has occurred, stock is unavailable, or we suspect fraud. If payment has been taken, it will be refunded in full.
• ✦Orders placed over WhatsApp are confirmed personally by our team, including payment and delivery details, before dispatch.

Payments

• ✦Online payments are processed securely by Razorpay — UPI, cards, netbanking, and international cards. We never see or store your card details.
• ✦The charged amount is always in INR. If you pay with an international card, your bank determines the exchange rate and any foreign-transaction fees.
• ✦Your order is confirmed only once payment is verified. If a payment fails or cannot be verified, any amount deducted is reversed by the payment provider per their timelines.

Shipping & delivery

Shipping is free across India on every order. International delivery is available worldwide, with shipping calculated at checkout or confirmed with you on WhatsApp. Full details, timelines, and tracking are set out in our Shipping & Delivery policy, which forms part of these terms.

Returns & exchange

Intellectual property

Everything on this site — photography, product descriptions, the Niha Silks name and marks, and the design of the site itself — belongs to us or our licensors. You’re welcome to share it personally; please don’t reproduce it commercially without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer protection law. Beyond what the law requires, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tamil Nadu, India. We’d much rather resolve anything personally first — please talk to us.
