Choosing a saree with us often means sharing something personal — your name, your address, sometimes the occasion itself. We treat that information the way we treat your saree: carefully. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We never sell your personal data.
What we collect
- ✦Contact details — your name, phone or WhatsApp number, and email address, when you place an order or enquire.
- ✦Delivery details — the shipping address and pincode you provide at checkout.
- ✦Order information — the sarees you purchase, order value, and payment status. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details — those go directly to our payment provider.
- ✦Messages — conversations you have with us on WhatsApp or email, so we can serve you personally.
Why we use it
- ✦To fulfil your order — confirming it, arranging payment, shipping your saree, and sharing tracking.
- ✦To support you — answering questions, handling returns and exchanges, and resolving anything that isn’t right.
- ✦To keep basic records required by Indian tax and commercial law.
- ✦We do not send marketing messages without your consent, and we never sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
Who helps us serve you
A small number of trusted service providers process your data on our behalf, each only for its purpose:
- ✦Razorpay — processes your payment securely. Your card and banking details are handled entirely by Razorpay, never by us.
- ✦Shiprocket and its courier partners — receive your name, address, and phone number to deliver your saree.
- ✦Supabase — securely hosts our store database, where your order details are stored.
- ✦WhatsApp — when you message us or place an order over WhatsApp, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp under its own terms.
How long we keep it
We keep order and customer records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements in India. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), you have the right to:
- ✦Ask what personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy.
- ✦Ask us to correct or update information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- ✦Ask us to delete your personal data, where we’re not legally required to retain it.
- ✦Withdraw any consent you’ve given, and raise a grievance with us — we’ll respond promptly and personally.
Cookies & preferences
