The rekku — the woven temple-spire pattern running along this border — is among the oldest motifs in Tamil weaving, a row of small gold peaks marching the length of the pink korvai edge. It sits against a deep teal-blue soft silk sprinkled with gold diamond buttas: cool body, warm border, a pairing that flatters instantly. Soft silk keeps the weight light and the drape easy — this is the saree that goes on in two minutes for a temple morning, a golu visit or a daytime function, and still holds its own beside far heavier silks.

Colours may render slightly differently across screens — pure silk shifts with the light. We’re happy to share extra photographs or a live video on WhatsApp before you order.
